Our 1st Birthday
Highlights and an invitation
Wayfare was born a year ago with the hope of becoming “a companion and guide on the journey of faith.” Since then, we have published 217 essays, poems and stories both online and in two beautiful print issues.
These were the five most popular essays of the year:
Over the past year we also launched some special projects:
We are now being delivered across the globe, with subscribers in Australia, Hong Kong, Dubai, Sweden and Brazil. And recently, Marci McPhee helped us reach our seventh continent by reading Wayfare to the penguins of Antarctica.
Writers we adore have shared kind words of praise of our work:

“Marvelous!” -Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
“I couldn't be more impressed with Wayfare.” -Joe Spencer
“An astonishing and beautiful publication.” -Ardis Parshall
“Wayfare is amazing.” -Steven Peck
“Wayfare is the most encouraging development that I've seen in Mormon letters for some time.” -Nate Oman
“I love what Wayfare is doing.” -Sam Brown
“Wayfare is a triumph.” -Adam Miller

To celebrate our first birthday, we'd like to invite you to a party next Friday, January 5th in Provo. We’ll have music by Andrew and Liz Maxfield, readings by James Goldberg and Kathryn Knight Sonntag, artwork curated by Esther Candari, free issues and abundant cake and Coke Zero. RSVP here. Hope to see you there!
Thank you for reading and walking with us on the life-giving path of Christ.
In faith and friendship,
