As I read it, I realise how often I have lost myself in “willing to will” with no lasting effect. The process is somehow inward focussed, a misapplied sense of *striving*.
With aspiration I can draw myself out of myself by using the external model of Christ. I have a direction to walk in, step by step. Rather than striving, this feels more like a process of *yielding* - yielding to the power of the example of our Saviour.
This is an inspirational piece.
Thank you.
