Seeking a New Associate Editor

Wayfare Magazine is seeking a new associate editor. 

Responsibilities include:

• exercising leadership in editorial voice and vision;

• idea generation of topics, authors, artists, and initiatives to further Wayfare's mission;

• initial review of submitted pieces for Wayfare fit; and 

• special review and editing of challenging essays.

This position, like most positions at Wayfare, is volunteer. We expect that, once onboarded, the successful associate editor will spend at least a few hours per week on their responsibilities. While there are regular opportunities for in-person gatherings, all work may be completed entirely online.

The successful candidate will be informed by early September of 2024.
